Paradigm Solutions, Inc. was founded in 1997 as a medical consulting firm dedicated to working with private medical practices to adapt to the 21st century. Paradigm’s primary focus was to develop and market an electronic medical record system that medical practices could use to store, retrieve and query information much easier than the standard medical charts. Utilizing Microsoft products, Paradigm developed custom medical record software that is currently being used in numerous practices throughout Massachusetts. Evolving out of the medical record software, Paradigm began to support its many clients who utilized the medical record software with general IT services, allowing the groups to have a single point of contact for all of their data and IT needs. Paradigm began to grow into a larger company, hiring personnel that would be able to solve the clients needs as they became relevant. Eventually, Paradigm began to turn to the commercial markets, using its consulting expertise from the medical practices. This move further grew Paradigm, because of many areas that commercial companies demanded above and beyond what medical groups utilized. Because of growing demands, Paradigm enlarged its niche to include web design and consulting, e-commerce, and started an ISP niche, utilized by its clients. Paradigm believes that in order to provide the best service to clients, one needs to provide the service correctly. Unlike many competitors who attempt to enter markets and provide services utilizing a large sales force and low quality technicians, hoping that through larges sales, they will become profitable, Paradigm simply provides quality service and support utilizing its vast knowledge and resources, focusing it profit on growing and expanding its capabilities, which ultimately service the clients better.
